Over seven years, as an Account Supervisor and later Partner at Crenshaw Communications, Chris has spearheaded PR programs for the company’s award-winning technology division, with a particular focus on digital B2B brands and businesses (in sectors such as enterprise SaaS, ad tech, digital media, retail, and more).
With a background in media research and communications theory, Chris has transformed early-stage companies into category leaders and turned top-tier digital brands into household names. On the B2B side, he has led/managed/executed successful PR programs for brands such as: AOL, Oath, Getty Images, WeTransfer, Opera Solutions, Xplenty, Telenav, IBM, Fast Company, and more. He has also spearheaded B2C programs in the past for Airbnb, foursquare, OpenTable, and CafePress.
Additionally, Chris has built impressive social media campaigns for a number of leading not-for-profits, including Susan G. Komen and the Jewish Community Federation & Endowment Fund.
Chris received his Masters in Communications from the University of Washington, and his Bachelors from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in the Upper East side, with his beautiful wife, Lisa Kurtz.
