Luke Mansfield serves as Vice President, Innovation, Global Beverage Group, at PepsiCo. In his role at PepsiCo, Luke is responsible for spearheading innovation across the global portfolio of beverage brands. Luke brings a wealth of experience, and creative thinking to PepsiCo. He has extensive consumer research experience with strong commercial and technical skills acting as a catalyst for reimagining and reinventing existing product categories.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Luke was the Head of Innovation at Samsung Europe where he conceived the highly successful Samsung Galaxy S5 device, which generated more than $5 billion in revenue, billions of impressions and covetable word of mouth and brand halo. Luke also led the revival of Samsung’s PC and camcorder business as well as a multitude of successful home appliance concepts from cooktops to fridges which are now available in the Samsung portfolio.
Prior to Samsung, Luke was a consultant with What If, where incubated and developed new products and businesses for various fast moving consumer goods companies, inventing new products, brands and services for companies like Unilever, Kellogg’s, SK Telecom, American Express and including an award winning new mobile bank for Citi. Of 22 projects 18 made it to market.
Luke is a graduate from the University of Oxford where he holds a Masters in Chemistry. Since graduating, Luke has been a guest speaker on Innovation at Oxford and has lectured on corporate innovation for the executive MBA program at the London Business School. Originally from the United Kingdom, he is based in New York along with his wife Meike and their two children Heidi and Robin.
