Amber Hall is the innovation lead on the Advanced development laundry team. Her experience focuses on the voice of the consumer as it relates to product development and delivery. In her current role, she serves as the voice of consumer advocate and expert for advance development projects, spearheading consumer experience and requirement development which includes testing with consumers, gathering insights, and influencing the future laundry innovation pipeline. Amber started her journey at Whirlpool as a member of the global innovation team, driving the strategic foresight framework including the first-ever, global consumer trends book for Whirlpool.
Amber began her career at Ford Motor Company as a product development engineer in seating. There she worked on consumer requirements for the seating system, including massage and thermal comfort. She also initiated the advanced development feasibility workstream for product development and delivered comfort for the Lincoln Continenal seating systems. Amber was recently awarded as a Notable Woman in Manufacturing for Crain's Detroit Business 2018.
Amber holds two degrees, a B.S. in Bio-engineering and a B.S. in Exercise Science. She's recently been accepted for the M.S in Product Design and Development Management program at Northwestern University, starting in the fall.
