Hannah is a design strategist and researcher at Fidelity Labs, where she occasionally drags her coworkers out for lunch time standup paddleboard adventures or runs ideation sessions in the elevator. She loves bringing human insight into the financial services space and keeping teams focused on the discovering and solving their users’ problems and unmet needs. She has worked on a variety of human-centered projects over the last two years at Fidelity including engaging women investors, enabling people to holistically consider their healthcare and financial benefits, and helping people pay off student loan debt. Her journey in design thinking and entreprenurship started at the Stanford d.school, and she has taught design thinking throughout the U.S. and Europe. Before adopting the mission of bringing humanity into business, Hannah drafted tax policy recommendations for a state senator, facilitated contentious environmental policy debates, and even spent a few years assisting with the birth of piglets. Her penchant for risk, challenge, and ambiguity transfers extends beyond work -- she’s also a ski mountaineer, ice climber, and ultra runner. She has a bachelors degree in biology from Brown University and a masters in education policy from Stanford University.
