Eewei is a tech futurist, agilist and has leaned design philosopher. He worked in the new media creative industry since 1993. Rumors are, he created the first animated gif, designed the first secure online musical distribution service, before iTunes (Cerberus Sound and Vision), launched the first online music publication, The NME.com and helped set up the first integrated UK design agency, Conchango, now part of EMC Consulting.

Previously at Microsoft, Eewei launched MSN in Russia, Canada, China and Korea as well as maintain existing EMEA sites; improving the online user experience to over 550 million users worldwide. As Creative Director at ThoughtWorks UK and Solutions Director at British Sky Broadcasting (BSKYB), he led cross functional teams; building prototypes using Lean Startup, Lean UX and Agile methodologies to deliver B2C, B2B, Financial, Travel, Entertainment, Publishing, Marketing, TV, mobile and web experiences.

Eewei loves speaking and running workshops in the design, lean start up, technology and agile communities including Agile, Future of Web Apps & LeanUX NYC and lecture a few times a year at the Kingston Business School about Lean Startup and the Digital User Experience Design techniques.

Eewei just left his position as Head of Digital Experience at Ooredoo in Doha, Qatar where he defined the strategic digital direction for all B2C and B2B digital marketing, products and customer experiences over the last three and a half years. He is currently at Marks and Spencer in London, working on strategic digital retail and service design projects.
