Cheryl IdellConsultant at Quibi
Cheryl has been involved in every facet of measurement, research and insights in the media and advertising industry on both coasts. She has worked at agencies, research & data companies, client side and digital platform/publishers.
Cheryl’s career started in Media Research at full service agencies in NY followed by Media Agencies in LA. From there, Cheryl was a member of the founding team for a digital online research startup, IAG (which became Nielsen’s TV Brand Effect product), then a large media company (20th Century Fox) doing theatrical marketing, followed by a long stint at Nielsen creating data based solutions across Nielsen’s product portfolio while leading the LA office and Nielsen’s relationship with Disney. After Nielsen, Cheryl went back to her agency roots leading the West Coast for Mindshare where she managed a team of 140+ across LA, Portland and SF driving the strategy and execution of the agency’s services across Mindshare’s varied client base.
After Mindshare, Cheryl made a jump to the publisher/platform side at Snapchat where she led US Ad Sales Measurement before deciding to leave the corporate world and become an entrepreneur. She opened an Indoor Cycling Studio in Palm Springs, CA, while staying actively involved in our industry as a consultant, most recently for Quibi, the new mobile streaming service led by Meg Whitman and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
