Janet Gallent is Senior Vice President of NBC Consumer Insights and Innovation Research. She and her team are responsible for conducting consumer research on media behaviors and exploring innovative research methods that help inform business strategy. Janet also oversees all biometric research studies conducted in the NBC Media Center at Universal Orlando Theme Park. She has been with NBC Universal for 16 years and represents NBC at various Industry research organizations, including the Council for Research Excellence (CRE). Janet is currently the chair of the CRE’s Media Consumer Engagement (MCE) Committee. She earned her doctoral degree from Columbia University, a master’s degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
