What is MenuMasters?
The Nation’s Restaurant News MenuMasters Award is the highest honor a chain restaurant can receive for excellence in menu research & development.
Now in it’s 23rd year, the MenuMasters Awards identify and recognize research and development executives and their respective foodservice companies for outstanding dedication and achievement to the area of research and development, and the product lines that are developed and marketed by their restaurant and foodservice companies.
How can you submit a nomination?
An open call for nominations from the industry is conducted (deadline for submission is December 31st of each year). For details on categories and criteria, click here.
How and when are award winners selected?
MenuMasters Award winners are selected by the editors of Nation’s Restaurant News, based on the criteria defined for each award category. Winners are notified confidentially in February and announced to the industry by Nation’s Restaurant News (www.NRN.com) in March of each year and a profile story in a special issue of Nation’s Restaurant News in May.
How do we celebrate MenuMasters winners?
The NRN MenuMasters Celebration, sponsored by Ventura Foods, is where over 400 of the restaurant industry’s best chefs and their teams come together to enjoy a progressive feast, featuring the award-winning dishes expertly paired with wine and cocktails, a high-energy awards celebration and an after-party featuring great live music, over-the-top desserts and the best party SWAG ever!
