David Berman has wealth of experience in healthcare with over 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Merck over 10 years ago leading the Infectious Disease and Merck Biosimilars Global and US Market Research teams. He expanded his responsibilities leading the Global Market Research and Analytics Team for the Hospital and Specialty Division. David now leads Global Commercial Capabilities which is comprised of the Global and US Market Research, Global and US Commercial Analytics, Global Digital Content and Global Marketing Operations teams.
Prior to joining Merck, David spent 3 years at J&J as Director of Market Research for Virology products. For 10 years before this David owned and operated The Mercury Group, a qualitative market research company focusing on the pharmaceutical industry. David has also worked at Sanofi as well as Bristol Myers Squibb. His experiences span across a range of disciplines, including R&D, Clinical Research, Marketing, Market Research, Business Development as well as International Management.
David received a BA degree in Microbiology and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management.
