Director, Management Science & Integration at The Walt Disney Company
Karin is the Director, Management Science and Integration at the Walt Disney Company. She leads a team that provides analytics consultant services to business units across Disney. She specializes in marketing and content analytics, focusing on Disney’s film and television businesses. Her work centers on the financial assessment of marketing effectiveness and creative content performance in increasingly complex distribution networks.
Previously, Karin was Director, Consumer Insight, Measurement and Analytics at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, leading consumer and operations research for Disney’s U.S. vacation destinations. In this role, she also led International Business Development market research and analytics, conducting foundational work for the development and launch of Shanghai Disney Resort, Disney’s first resort destination in Mainland China.
Prior to her role at Parks and Resorts, she held several other marketing, finance and technology positions at the Walt Disney Company.
A native of upstate New York, Karin received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. She holds masters and doctoral degrees from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is passionate about encouraging women and girls to enter STEM fields and spearheads The Walt Disney Company’s Women in Analytics initiative. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
