A strategic, solutions oriented business leader with over 20 years of success in delivering customer insights that drive business results, Lisa has a passion for delivering patient centered solutions in healthcare. Lisa Courtade currently leads the Global Customer Insights team at Merck responsible for delivering insights that drive meaningful business results while creating compliant, innovative solutions to the challenges facing the practice of market research and analytics. Lisa was an early adopter of engaging patients, leveraging CPG methodologies in the pharma space, and applying emerging technologies to insights challenges. Her leadership efforts have contributed to being named one of the top 100 most inspiring leaders in healthcare by PharmaVoice in 2018, as well as recipient of the 2018 NGMR Innovative Disruptor Award, the TMRE EXPLOR award in 2016, and to being a three time recipient of the ARF David Ogilvy Award for the creative use of insights in advertising.
Lisa lives her passion for shaping the future of the industry by serving on the Marketing Research Institute International (MRII) Board as Past President, as Secretary of the newly formed Insights Association and as an Advisory Board Member for the University of Georgia’s Masters in Marketing Research program, and the Rutger’s MRIA program. Lisa is also a member of the Yale/IPSOS Think Tank, a partnership between industry leaders and the Yale School of Management and Center for Customer Insights to explore practical applications for Behavioral Economics. In 2013 Lisa was awarded the PMRG’s prestigious R.R. Fordyce Award for exemplary leadership, service and dedication to the healthcare industry and the healthcare market research community.
