Nicola joined American Express in late 2008, through the MBA recruitment program. Originally from Canada, Nicola moved to London in 2006 to pursue her MBA at London Business School. Nicola spent the first 5 years working in Global Corporate Payments in both the UK and US in a series of roles including: EMEA Coverage Strategy, BTA Product Development and GCP Value Proposition & Brand Awareness.
Looking to expand her industry knowledge she joined Global Merchant Services, where she led a team of Marketing & Insights Consultants covering the US Lodging portfolio. She and her team were responsible for approximately $10M in annual merchant investment in Marketing and Insight engagements.
Looking to expand her Insights experience Nicola joined Amex Insights where she now leads the Global Consumer Amex Insights team. She and her team partner with the Global Consumer organization, where she has developed relationships with senior leadership transforming the teams role to be seen as a strategic business partner, enabling stronger linkage of the insights agenda to business priorities.
