Kirsten BruckbauerUser Experience Research Manager, MARA at ALLSTATE
Kirsten manages a small team of user experience researchers at Allstate where she designs and leads a strategic research program focused on the integration and unification of several agency-facing enterprise software applications. She is a certified LUMA practitioner, a SAFe Agilist, and completed a certificate in UX Management with the Nielsen Norman Group. Prior to Allstate, Kirsten conducted custom UX research engagements for clients of the global market research firm GfK, and cut her teeth under the tutelage of Robert Schumacher and Gavin Lew, founders of User Centric. She holds an M.A. in social sciences from the University of Chicago, where she won the Earl S. Johnson Prize for her master’s thesis on the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists; and an A.B. summa cum laude in anthropology from Princeton University. When not UX’ing, you can find Kirsten singing at venues all over the Chicagoland area with the Apollo Chorus of Chicago, or strolling through Evanston playgrounds with her two-year old.
